The Azerbaijani insurance company Alfa Sigorta reshuffled its structure. Khayal Mammadkhanli was appointed as the chairman of the Alfa Sigorta's Board of Directors, the company reported. Mammadkhanli is head of AzBarter.
He assumed his duties April 14, the company said.
Earlier Mammadkhanli held senior positions in the financial sector at the International Insurance Company, Az Sigorta, Az Finans Bank, and the Azerbaijani Union of Insurers. Since 2009, he has worked at AzBarter.
Alfa Sigorta was registered in August 1997 under the name "Murad." In June 2005, the company changed its name to Alpha Insurance. In December 2006, the company moved to full ownership under Texnika Bank. The company's authorized capital is 1.5 million manat.
The company provides 25 types of insurance services.
