The volume of raw gold production amounted to 77,196 kg in January-November 2017 in Kazakhstan, which is 13.9 percent more than in the same period in 2016.
The volume of raw silver production, in turn, amounted to 958,040 kg, which is 12.8 percent less than in January-November of previous year, the Committee on Statistics of Kazakhstan said in a message.
In January-October 2017, the production of raw gold in Kazakhstan amounted to 70,248 kg, which is 15.5 percent more than in the same period of 2016.
Experts predict that the level of gold production in Kazakhstan will remain stable for the next 20 years, despite the forecast of the World Gold Council regarding the global decline in gold production in 2019.
