Iran Khodro Industrial Group has manufactured 39,000 cars from the beginning of the current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020) through May 4, Trend reports citing the company's official website.
According to the report, Iran Khodro continues production on the basis of health protocols, given the coronavirus pandemic guidelines.
“During the 15th day of the second month of current Iranian year (April 20-May 4), Iran produced 25,500 cars,” said the report.
Iran Khodro's production started later than usual, and defective cars which were incompletely repaired since beginning of year, have been upgraded.
"Currently, Iran Khodro Industrial Group produces more than 2,000 cars a day," the statement said.
The company's car production will continue to grow until the end of the current Iranian month, and production will increase significantly compared to the same month last year.
