BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Iran's exports of petrochemical products and gas condensate amounted to 3.26 million tons worth about $2.24 billion, during the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI).
According to the statistics, Iran’s petrochemical and gas condensate exports for the first month increased by 51 percent in value, while decreased by 6 percent in volume compared to the same month last Iranian year.
Meanwhile, in the same month last Iranian year, Iran exported a total of 3.48 million tons of petrochemical products and gas condensate worth $1.48 billion.
In total, Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 7.32 million tons worth about $3.7 billion for the 1st month of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 24.6 percent in value, while a decrease of 10 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
