As many as 24 water and electricity facilities were put into operation in 8 provinces of Iran on June 23, Trend reports citing Ministry of Energy of Iran.
According to the report, a total of about 9.03 trillion rials (about $215 million) has been spent on the facilities (23 - electricity, 1 – water).
Thus, 9 facilities were put into operation in Khuzestan Province, 4 in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, 4 in Bushehr Province, 3 in Kerman Province, and 1 in each of East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Fars and Mazandaran provinces.
“Among the facilities put into operation are 3 small-scale power plants with a capacity of 8 megawatt-hours, 1 substation, 3 solar panel stations and others,” the report said.
