Russia’s Lada cars produced by AvtoVAZ company were among the best-selling cars in Azerbaijan, Trend reports referring to Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing in AvtoVAZ company Olivier Mornet.
“The sales volume of AvtoVAZ company’s cars in Azerbaijan increased by 38 percent in 2019, which is the best indicator among the countries where the cars of the Russian company are put up for sale,” the executive vice president said.
“The sales volume is by 1.5 times more in Azerbaijan than in Egypt, ranking second, where sales volume grew by 25 percent,” Mornet added.
“One of the main factors of this growth was the production of new Lada Granta model in 2019,” the executive vice president said.
“In total, the export volumes of Lada cars have tripled up to 50,000 cars over the past three years,” Mornet added.
The company’s priorities for 2020 are to maintain and increase its leading market share, sell the cars with automatic transmission, integrate Niva into the Lada lineup, develop a dealer network, improve the quality of customer service and open up new export opportunities.
