BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. Uzbekistan imported 4,383 cubic meters of timber products from Russia's Perm in October 2022, Trend reports via Russian Rosselkhoznadzor Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.
In accordance with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country, all wood products have previously undergone phytosanitary disinfection. Laboratory examination of the Perm branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIKR" confirmed the absence of quarantine pests.
The products met the phytosanitary requirements of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 103 phytosanitary certificates were issued for timber products.
Since the beginning of 2022, 53,158 cubic meters of timber have been exported from the Perm Territory to the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1,150 phytosanitary certificates have been issued.
