TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, February 6. UzAuto Motors, Uzbekistan’s main car dealer, ranked first in terms of annual car production among the CIS and Central Asia countries in 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Promrating research organization, UzAuto Motors was also the leader in 2022 in terms of yearly car production across the CIS and Central Asia countries.
According to the agency's figures, UzAuto Motors manufactured 395,300 automobiles in 2023, keeping it in first place.
AVTOVAZ, a Russian manufacturer, came in second place with 374,077 vehicles produced. Russian Haval Motor Manufacturing Rus took third place, with an indicator of approximately 100,000 automobiles.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan produced 355,250 automobiles during January through November 2023.
Citing data from Uzbekistan's State Statistics Committee, the recorded number represents a 25.9 percent growth, or 73,000 units, over the same period in 2022, when output was at 282,200.
