TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 30. Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine produced goods worth 684.4 billion soums ($54.4 million) under the localization program, Trend reports.
According to the combine, the export of products manufactured under the localization program amounted to $1.53 million.
The Central Repair and Mechanical Plant manufactured products worth 44 billion soums ($3.4 million) under 107 projects, Scientific and Production Association for the production of rare metals and hard alloys manufactured goods worth 65 billion soums ($5.1 billion) under 31 projects. The copper smelting plant produced goods worth 12.3 billion soums ($977,830).
At the same time, within the framework of construction of copper processing plant-3, metal structures worth 438.3 billion soums (34.8 million) were produced, explosive materials plant manufactured products worth 106.4 billion soums ($8.4 million) and 8 mechanical repair sites - worth 15.7 billion soums ($1.2 million).
Meanwhile, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine manufactured products worth 17.8 trillion soums ($1.4 billion) from January through June 2024. The forecast in this direction was fulfilled by 116.1 percent during this period.
