TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 26. Uzbekistan's Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) exported products worth $535.9 million, fulfilling the forecast indicator by 118.3 percent from January through October 2024, the AMMC told Trend.
In particular, the AMMC exported 46,543 tons of copper products; the forecast was fulfilled by 144.5 percent. The targets for exports of rhenium (115 percent), copper sulfate (150.2 percent), molybdenum products (105 percent), and lead concentrate (111.6 percent) were also exceeded.
Meanwhile, the plant's products are exported to 19 countries. Lead concentrate, cadmium, palladium powder, copper, zinc, molybdenum, rhenium, and other metals are the principal supplies to international partners.
In 2024, new markets for products were developed. In particular, starting from this year, copper rod and copper sulfate from AMMC are sold for export to Guinea, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Morocco, and Portugal.
