TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, February 22. Uzbekistan’s oil, petroleum products, and similar materials trade turnover amounted to $174.3 billion in January 2025.
As per data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, this figure has increased by 45 percent compared to the same period last year ($120.2 million in January 2024).
The exports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials from Uzbekistan totaled $30.2 million in January 2025, which is 50.2 percent more year-on-year ($20.1 million in January 2024).
Uzbekistan’s oil, petroleum products, and similar material imports reached $144.1 million, which demonstrates a 43.9 percent increase over the year ($100.1 million in January 2024).
Meanwhile, the trade turnover of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials in Uzbekistan reached $2.53 billion in 2024. This figure has increased by 30.4 percent compared to the same period last year ($1.94 billion in 2023).
