BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 22. The volume of flared gas in Iran's Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Processing Company has decreased by 131 million cubic meters during the period of the current Iranian government (the current Iranian government has been in power since August 2021), the executive director of Iran's Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Processing Company, Yahya Feyzi said, Trend reports.
According to Feyzi, the company processed 38.5 bcm of gas during the mentioned period and dispatched it for consumption in the northwest of the country.
Feyzi added that the company produced 1.34 million tons of sulfur during the mentioned period and sold it in the domestic and foreign markets.
He noted that the company produced 1.8 million cubic meters of gas condensate during the mentioned period.
To note, Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Processing Company operates within the Eastern Oil and Gas Production Company of Iran. This company has 7 (5 processing plants and 2 humidifier-dehydrators) plants. Each of the processing plants is capable of processing 58 million cubic meters of gas per day. The company can produce natural gas, gas condensate, naphtha, fuel oil, solvent, and sulfur.
