The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) increased by 2818.97 points (2.14 percent) to end the trades at 134,354.8 on Aug. 19.
According to the TSE official website, about 1,855 million shares valued at $141 million were traded for the day.
The trading value registered a fall by 62 percent, while the volume decreased by 81.3 percent compared to the preceding day.
The Price Index (TEPIX) increased by 826.52 points (2.14 percent) to post 39,391.4.
The First Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (FM) increased by 2,168.65 points (2.26 percent) to 98,196.
The Second Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (SM) increased by 5,176.43 points (1.94 percent) to post 271,329.4.
The Industry Index increased by 2,798.49 points (2.32 percent) to post 123,340.5.
TSE 30 Index gained 77.69 points (1.19 percent) to close at 6,593.9.
TSE 50 Index gained 128.95 points (2.25 percent) to end at 5,868.4.
Mobarakeh Steel Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Pars Petrochemical Company, Pars Oil Company and Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group Company and Ghadir Investment Company, were among the companies that imposed the highest positive effect on the TSE index.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines, Dr. ABIDI Pharmaceutical Laboratory, Kharazmi Investment Company, Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran and Saman Kish Electronic Payment Company (SEP), had the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.
