Iran’s two major carmaker companies - Iran Khodro and Saipa - will be sold to the private sector until the end of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) or next year, Iranian Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Reza Rahmani said, Trend reports with reference to IRNA.
He said that the sale of the firms related to these two companies and non-production property to the private sector has already begun.
According to the Iranian statistics, Iran Khodro produced 61,031 cars from March 21 to May 21.
During this period, Saipa produced 63,649 cars.
