BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 9. Exports of Turkish automobile industry products to Turkmenistan decreased by 53.4 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $5.2 million, Trend reports via Türkiye's Trade Ministry.
"Türkiye exported $1.6 million worth of car industry products to Turkmenistan in March this year, which is 66.1 percent less than in March last year," the ministry said in a statement.
From January through March 2024, Türkiye's automobile industry exports grew 11 percent year-on-year to $5.9 billion.
In March this year, Türkiye exported auto industry products worth $3.2 billion, down 1.8 percent year-on-year.
In the last 12 months (from March 2023 through March 2024), Türkiye exported auto industry products worth $35.5 billion.
