BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. Türkiye's automotive industry exports to China increased 41.1 percent year-on-year to $15.2 million from January through March 2024, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
"In March this year, Türkiye exported $4.6 million worth of automotive products to China, down 9.3 percent year-on-year," the ministry said in a statement.
From January through March 2024, Türkiye's automotive industry exports rose 6.1 percent year-on-year to $9.1 billion.
In March this year, Türkiye exported automobile industry products worth $3.2 billion, down 1.8 percent year-on-year.
To note, over the past 12 months (March 2023–March 2024), Türkiye exported automotive products worth $35.5 billion.
