Microsoft not only is a manufacturer of such programs as Office and Windows / Windows Server, but also a global provider of hundreds of leading services in the world with a huge network of partners, Chief manager of Microsoft Azerbaijan company Gachay Mirzayev said in an interview with Trend.
Mirzayev was speaking about the company’s new solutions and products for Azerbaijani users, which will be developed and presented this year.
“Consequently, new solutions and products announced by the head office are becoming available to all users, including Azerbaijani users,” chief manager added.
“Microsoft Insider Risk Management [program] helps minimize the company's internal risks by detecting, analyzing and taking measures for risky actions,” Mirzayev said. “The special programs allow detecting and taking actions when attacking malicious and unintended risks in an organization, including the appeals for broad revealing Microsoft e-data if necessary. Thanks to the risk analytics in your organization, one can quickly take action to make sure that users meet the standards and requirements of your organization.”
"Another Azure Sentinel solution includes intelligent tools for analyzing enterprise-wide security data,” chief manager added. “Azure Sentinel will provide with all processes occurring at the enterprise. It is possible to take advantage of cloud technologies and large-scale analytics tools built on Microsoft's long experience in ensuring security. It is possible to increase speed and effectiveness of detecting and responding to the threats by using artificial intelligence. One should not be distracted by setting and maintaining infrastructure security. It is possible to use flexible scaling in accordance with the security needs while reducing IT costs."
“An important product among the company's innovations is the "Windows virtual desktop",” chief manager said. “It is a comprehensive cloud solution for virtualizing desktops and applications. Today, it is the only virtual desktop infrastructure with simplified management, support for Windows 10 multi-session mode, as well as optimization for Office 365 and support for Remote Desktop Services. It is possible to deploy and scale Windows desktops and applications quickly in Azure with built-in security features.”
"Old computers are no longer a hindrance,” Mirzayev added. “Thanks to the "virtual Windows desktop" solution, it is possible to use Windows 10 even on a smartphone."
“Another solution prepared by the company is Azure Synapse Analytics,” chief manager said. “This service allows integrating corporate data storage and big data analytics. The advantages of this solution include the ability to request data on own terms, using serverless resources upon request or prepared at any scale. Azure Synapse combines these two capabilities by providing a single interface for receiving, preparing, monitoring and serving data for the urgent needs of business intelligence and machine learning.”
“Azure Arc is a program designed to simplify complex and distributed spheres in local, border or multi-cloud mode,” Mirzayev saidd. “This solution allows deploying Azure services in any location and using management tools in any infrastructure by using Azure Arc.”
Microsoft corporation was founded in 1975 by entrepreneurs Bill Gates and Paul Allen. Microsoft is one of the biggest corporations for the production of software for various devices beginning from personal computers and ending with mobile phones. The company is headquartered in Redmond, Washington. The corporation’s market capitalization exceeded $1 trillion in April 2019.
