on his birthday on Dec. 24, AzerTaj state news agency said.
Uzbekistan notes with great satisfaction the growing credibility and influence
of Azerbaijan in the region and in the international arena, the overall
strengthening of its economic potential, Islam Karimov said in a message.
"Certainly, this is a result of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's deeply
thoughtful and balanced policy and creative work intended to implement
large-scale projects and reforms for the sake of the present and the future of
Azerbaijan," the message says.
