Iranian citizen Roohihir Mohseni will stand retrial in Azerbaijan. He was earlier convicted of embezzling over 1 million manat.
Today, the Baku Heinous Crimes Court held a preparatory meeting on the case.
The judicial review is scheduled for April 16.
According to the charges, Mohseni defalcated over 1 million manat from over 10 Bina Trade Center employees.
Mohseni was convicted of Article 178.3.2 (Fraud) of the Azerbaijani Code. He was given a seven-year sentence.
Mohseni later appealed the verdict at the Baku Appeals Court. The hearing was presided over by Judge Safarov Rasul.
