BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 15. The production of foundry steel from January through June 2024 increased by 30.9 percent (up to 185,200 tons) compared to last year, Trend reports.
Meanwhile, the production of metallurgical industry products and ready metal products in the country increased in value terms by 26.17 percent to 656.7 million manat ($386.3 million) (521.5 million manat ($306.7 million) in the same period last year).

To note, the production of products of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in Azerbaijan in 2023 compared to 2022 decreased in value terms by 12.57 percent to 1.1 billion manat ($647,000).
