We ask for your great interest and support for the two fertilizer plant project bids that Daewoo E&C is currently participating in, said Daewoo Engineering & Construction (Daewoo E&C) CEO Baek Jung-wan during a meeting with a Turkmen delegation visiting South Korea for the 2024 World Smart City Expo in Goyang, Trend reports via Korean media.
The Turkmen delegation included Deryageldi Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag, Rahimbeder Jepbarov, Chairman of the Foreign Economic Bank, and Begench Durdyyev, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to South Korea.
CEO Baek emphasized the significance of the fertilizer plant projects, noting Daewoo E&C's extensive experience in successful new city developments and high-rise buildings. He expressed hope that the company could contribute to significant infrastructure projects in Turkmenistan.
The meeting highlighted the potential for further collaboration, with Orazov expressing optimism about ongoing discussions and future partnerships between Daewoo E&C and Turkmenistan.
