BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 10. Azerbaijan's Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF) issued 211.7 million manat ($124.5 million) of soft loans to finance 5,144 projects through authorized credit organizations over the 11 months of this year, Trend reports via the EDF statement.
According to the statement, this figure increased by 43.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
Entrepreneurs must contact authorized credit organizations to benefit from the soft loans from the EDF.
The authorized credit organizations include banks, non-bank credit organizations, and credit unions with which the fund cooperates.
To note, in 2023, the EDF granted soft loans of 193.8 million manat ($113.9 million) to finance 3,276 investment projects.
