BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 18. Azerbaijan produced 2,567 kg of gold and 3,064 kg of silver in the period from January through November 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee indicates that production of gold grew by 59.3 kg (2.4 percent) and silver by 698 kg (18.5 percent) compared to the same period in 2023.
Furthermore, during the 11 months of this year, the production of copper concentrate in Azerbaijan amounted to 200.3 tons, marking year-on-year growth of 1,915 tons (90.5 percent).
As of December 1, 2024, the country had 282.6 kg of gold reserves, 664.4 kg of silver reserves, and 93.6 tons of copper concentrate reserves.
To note, in 2023, 2,614 kg of gold and 3,853 kg of silver were produced in Azerbaijan.
