Kazenergy initiates creation of Association of National Investors of Kazakhstan

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 3. In the course of the general meeting of members of the KAZENERGY Association, Bolat Akchulakov, Chairman of the Association, initiated the creation of a new structure to improve the interaction between business and the authorities, Trend reports.

Meeting participants emphasized that, given the global economic challenges, it is crucial to focus efforts on ensuring stable growth and economic resilience. At the same time, the largest sectors—oil and gas, mining, finance, construction, and power generation - already have their associations, which successfully advocate for the interests of their industries.

However, to accelerate development and significantly improve the investment climate, a new structure is necessary - one that can unite the efforts of the leading sectors of the country's economy and operate in a new format. In this regard, Bolat Akchulakov proposed the creation of the Association of National Investors of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The proposal was supported by the member companies of the KAZENERGY Association, who believe that the new organization would become an important platform for effective business-government interaction, coordination of major projects, and attracting investments, which would contribute to ensuring sustainable economic growth and prosperity in Kazakhstan.

Meanwhile, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, consistently emphasizes the importance of establishing a strong partnership between the state and large businesses to implement breakthrough projects in key areas such as infrastructure, industry, and digitalization, which are necessary to achieve a new level of economic growth in the country.

Kazenergy is the Association of Energy Industry Organizations of Kazakhstan. It was established to coordinate the activities of the country's energy companies, protect business interests, improve the business climate in the energy sector, and develop strategies in the field of energy. Kazenergy deals with issues of sustainable development in the energy industry, technology improvement, environmental protection, as well as cooperation with government bodies and international organizations.
