ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 12. Kazakh officials held high-level talks in Washington, D.C., with major U.S. corporations across technology, healthcare, energy, and manufacturing, Trend reports.
The delegation included Gabidulla Ospankulov, Chairman of the Investment Committee at Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry, and Marat Birimzhan, overseas representative of Kazakh Invest.
At the Honeywell Technology Experience Center, discussions focused on industrial automation, sustainable aviation fuel, and digital manufacturing. Talks with agribusiness giant Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) explored expanding cooperation in agricultural processing and boosting exports.
In a meeting with Pfizer, the focus was on advancing Kazakhstan’s pharmaceutical industry through modern biotechnologies and localizing production. Discussions with Leidos covered intelligent transport systems, critical infrastructure security, and cybersecurity solutions. Meanwhile, talks with water technology firm Xylem centered on improving water resource management and modernizing Kazakhstan’s water infrastructure.
Ospankulov reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to strengthening investment ties with U.S. companies, emphasizing favorable conditions for business and flexible support mechanisms.
The delegation is also attending CERAWeek 2025 in Houston, Texas, from March 10 to 14, where global leaders and experts will discuss energy policy, technology, and sustainability.
