BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. Azerbaijan imported 7.55 tons of natural honey worth $20,900 from Türkiye during the first two months of this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that this represents decrease of 8.21 tons (2.1 times) in volume, and $87,600 (5.2 times) in value compared to the same period last year.
In the first two months of 2024, Türkiye exported 15.76 tons of honey worth $108,500 to Azerbaijan. During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported a total of 41 tons of natural honey valued at $196,000, mainly from Ukraine, Türkiye, and Russia.
