BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 9. Azerbaijan imported 9.23 tons of natural honey worth $46,160 from Russia during the first two months of this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee shows that this represents decrease of 2.71 tons (22.7 percent) in volume, and $13,560 (22 percent) in value compared to the same period last year.
In the first two months of 2024, Russia exported 11.94 tons of honey worth $59,720 to Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported a total of 41 tons of natural honey valued at $196,000, mainly from Ukraine, Türkiye, and Russia.
