BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. Steel pipe production in Azerbaijan recorded a notable increase from January through April 2025, reaching 56,400 tons.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this metric stands at 22,300 tons, reflecting a 65.4 percent increase compared to the corresponding timeframe in 2024.
Furthermore, the inventory of completed steel pipe commodities reached a total of 3,600 tons as of May 1, 2025.
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan's metallurgy sector generated a substantial output valued at 418 million manat ($245.8 million) during the period spanning January to April 2025, encompassing the fabrication of finished metal commodities. In juxtaposition to the corresponding timeframe of the antecedent year, the output of finished metal goods experienced a contraction of 12.7 percent, whereas metallurgy production underwent a decrement of 16.7 percent.
