TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 20. The Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan and ILF Consulting Engineers have signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at implementing energy efficiency projects in the country, Trend reports.
The document was signed by Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Samandar Sadullaev and the Director of Management Consulting at ILF Consulting Engineers, Oscar Gruber.
As part of this partnership, a comprehensive set of measures will be carried out to improve energy efficiency, including the preparation of project documentation in accordance with international standards, energy audits, technical control over the energy efficiency of each facility, as well as supervision of the technical maintenance of installed equipment and technologies.
The signed agreements cover a number of specific projects. In 2025, it is planned to improve the energy efficiency of 89 social institutions in the Bukhara region. Between 2025 and 2026, projects will be implemented to enhance the energy efficiency of 60 social infrastructure and public buildings across 14 regions of the country. Additionally, in 2025, a project is planned to improve the energy efficiency of 43 apartment buildings in the Chinaz and Oltariq districts.
These agreements mark an important step towards sustainable regional infrastructure development and enhanced energy efficiency, drawing on advanced international experience.
