TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, June 30. Uzbekistan’s large enterprises boosted butter production by 22 percent during the first five months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports, citing the Agency on Statistics under the President of Uzbekistan.
According to official data, butter output reached 1,096 tons from January through May 2025, up by 197.5 tons from 898.5 tons in the corresponding period of 2024. This continued growth reflects a sustained upward trend in recent years.
In 2023, large enterprises in the country produced just 201.4 tons of butter. In 2024, output surged over fourfold to 898.5 tons, and this year it has already surpassed the 1,000-ton threshold.
Authorities note that rising production levels are supported by growing domestic demand, modernization of food enterprises, and investments in the dairy sector.
