BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. Iran’s non-oil exports to Uzbekistan grew by 41.7 percent in value and 44.7 percent in weight over four months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through July 22, 2025) compared to the same period last year (from March 20 through July 21, 2024).
The data obtained by Trend from Iran’s Customs Administration shows that Iran exported $169 million worth of non-oil products, totaling about 262,000 tons, to Uzbekistan in the reporting period against approximately 181,000 tons valued at $119 million during four months of last year.
The exports were a mixed bag, featuring milk and dairy products, petrochemical goodies, an assortment of pipes, glass containers, and agricultural gear, along with a host of other wares.
The trade turnover between Iran and Uzbekistan for the four months reached nearly $202 million and 284,000 tons, marking an increase of 39.4 percent in value and 48 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.
The Iranian Customs Administration's data shows that Iran’s non-oil product exports during the four months amounted to $16.5 billion with a total weight of 48.8 million tons. Non-oil exports decreased by 5.51 percent in value and by 1.46 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.
