TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 22. The volume of market services provided in Uzbekistan for the period from January through July 2025 reached $43.7 billion, marking a 13.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee shows that per capita, the volume of services amounted to $1,160.47, up 11.3 percent. Small businesses accounted for $23.8 billion, or 54.6 percent of the total, underscoring their growing role in the country’s service sector.
The growth reflects broader expansion across trade, transportation, communications, and financial services, highlighting the contribution of private enterprises to economic diversification and activity.
