Deputy heads of Azerbaijani and Iranian Customs Committees met at Azerbaijan's Astara checkpoint today, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pakayin said in an interview with the Iranian news agency ISNA today.
He said that ways of resolving problems at border checkpoints designed to simplify customs procedures for passenger entering and leaving and increasing trade turnover were discussed at the meeting.
The ambassador said that an agreement on the agreed issues was signed at the end of the meeting.
