At present, there is no problem with the movement of Turkish trucks in Egypt heading towards the border with Saudi Arabia, head of the International Transporter's Association of Turkey Cetin Nuhoglu was quoted today by Anadolu agency as saying.
Nuhoglu reported that around 600-700 Turkish trucks pass through Egypt per month.
Earlier, there were some problems with Turkish trucks passing through Egypt because of the queues at customs checkpoints.
For the past 1.5 years, Turkey has been using Egyptian territory to deliver goods to Saudi Arabia and other Persian Gulf countries instead of cargo transportation through Syria.
The trucks are transported by ship to the Egyptian port of Port Said, and from there to Saudi Arabia.
