In January 2018 the volume of trading on the money market of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including the Repo market and currency swap market, made up 11.1 trillion tenge increasing by 6.1 percent against the same period of 2017.
In comparison with December 2017, the amount of trades on the money market increased by 12.1 percent.
The total amount of trades on (KASE) in all market sectors made up 12.4 trillion tenge (equivalent of $38 billion) in January 2018 and increased by 11.3 percent (12.6 percent in dollar terms) year over year.
In comparison with December 2017 the trades volume increased by 9.8 percent.
