The sales of travel vouchers of the company Alba Group decreased significantly at the end of 2018, a source at the company told Trend.
A similar trend was observed in the last two years, the source said.
"For example, the sales in 2018 were lower than in 2017, and it proves the downward trend in this segment. Since early 2018, sales are also not so active, but this can be attributed to the seasonal factor. As a rule, in winter, sales of tour packages are lower than during the rest of the year," the source said.
The source also noted that the company is simultaneously engaged in the sales of modern equipment for aesthetic and SPA centers.
"Sales in this segment also declined, although the difference between sales in 2018 and 2017 is not so striking, however, it does exist. According to our estimates, this fact is due to two reasons: firstly, it may arise due to a decrease in the financial capabilities of companies that buy equipment from us, and secondly, due to increased competition in the market," the source added.
Alba Group is also engaged in the provision of medical and business tourism services.
