Kazakhstan’s annual economy crediting amounted to 10.3 percent (1.1 trillion tenge) excluding the loan portfolios of the banks, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
"As of March 2019 Kazakhstan’s economy crediting by banks totaled 12,473.2 billion tenge (a monthly decrease of 0.1 percent). Natural person loans decreased by 1.3 percent reaching 7,036.9 billion tenge, while the legal persons loans decreased by 1.5 percent reaching 5,436.3 billion tenge," reads the message.
Total amount of tenge loans in March matched the statistic of the previous month and amounted to 10,012.3 billion tenge. Natural person tenge loans increased by 1.6 percent, while the legal persons tenge loans decreased by 1.7 percent. Total amount of non-tenge loans decreased by 0.7 percent reaching 2,460.9 billion tenge. Both natural and legal persons non-tenge loans decreased: by 2.6 and 0.6 percent respectively. The percentage of tenge loans in March 2019 totaled 80.3 percent (80.2 percent in February 2019)
"Total sum of short- and long-term loans decreased by 2.4 percent and increased by 0.3 percent respectively (reaching 10,621.8 and 1,851.2 billion tenge)," report said.
Small business entities crediting increased by 1.2 percent, reaching 2,191.3 billion tenge in March (17.6 percent of total sum of economy crediting).
"Major loan sums accounted for industries (15.3 percent of the total share), trade (13.7 percent), construction (5.8 percent) and transport (3.9 percent)."
Reportedly, in March 2019 the weighted average remuneration rate on legal person tenge loans amounted to 12 percent (12.4 percent in February 2019), while natural person tenge loans totaled 17.8 percent (18.2 percent in February 2018).
