The value of vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan in January-April 2019 amounted to 83.9 billion tenge, which is 45.8 percent more than in the same period of the previous year, Trend reports referring to Energyprom monitoring agency.
Furthermore, in April 2019, 4,050 of vehicles were manufactured on Kazakh automobile plants, which is 39.5 percent more than in March 2019 and 65.8 percent more than in April 2018.
Total volume of vehicles manufactured in January- April 2019 equaled to 12,870 units, which is 39.2 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.
Over 94 percent of this figure accounts for passenger cars: 12,110 units (+37.9 percent).
Furthermore, during the reporting period, 307 cargo trucks, 230 trailers, 203 buses and 17 units of special operations vehicles were manufactured in the country.
“In the reporting period,over 12,000 passenger cars were manufactured on Asia Auto (6,930 units) and Saryarkaautoprom (5,190 units) plants,” the statement said.
