One box of pineapples (6-8 pieces) in the fruit and vegetable markets has increased in price by about 500,000 rials (by $11. 9 according to the official exchange rate, and by $4.2 according to the exchange rate in the black market), Asadullah Kargar, chairman of the Tehran Fruit and Vegetable Association, said, Trend reports referring to to IRNA.
He added that one box of pineapples is sold at 1.6-2.4 million rials ($38-57 according to the official exchange rate, and $13.6-20 according to the exchange rate in the black market $13.6-20) in Tehran.
The price of 1 kg of cornel is 120-200 rials ($2.85-4.76 according to the official exchange rate, and $1-1.7according to the exchange rate in the black market), Kargar noted.
