Iran, Kazakhstan sign co-op document

TEHRAN, Iran, November 2. Irans Minister of Agricultural Jihad Javad Sadati Nejad and Deputy Kazakhstan prime minister Serik Zhumangarin have signed a cooperation document in the fields of agriculture, trade, industries, logistics and transportation and technology, Trend reports citing the official website of Irans Agricultural Ministry.

The two countries took the initial steps to boost commercial and economic ties, and raise the trade value to $1 billion.

According to the report, the mentioned arrangements between the two countries will be led to an exchange of veterinary and plant Health protocols with the aim of developing agricultural products trade.

The two countries set to form an agricultural cooperation committee, within the next month, with the aim of monitoring the development of technical cooperation and agricultural commercial relations.

According to the cooperation document, Iran and Kazakhstan have to be ready for the operation of the wheat swap within the next 2 weeks.

The cooperation document also announced the ongoing arrangements between Iran and Kazakhstan for the establishment of a joint trading company for agricultural products.

The two countries also decided to hold an exhibition in Tehran in April 2023, coinciding with the visit of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan to Tehran.
