BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 19. The total value of ready-made clothing exports from Türkiye to Russia increased by 142.7 percent (up to $314 million) from January through June 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to Turkish Ministry of Trade, in June 2023 the value of ready-made clothing exports from Türkiye to Russia grew by 116.5 percent on annual basis (up to $53.6 million).
In the first half of this year, Turkish exports of ready-made clothing abroad decreased by 7.2 percent (to $10.1 billion) year-on-year.
Türkiye exported ready-made clothing worth $1.7 million abroad in June 2023, which is 15.6 percent less than in June 2022.
In general, Türkiye exported ready-made clothing worth $20.6 billion from June 2022 through June 2023.
