A photovoltaic modules plant in Sumgait will reach a high production capacity in June, State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources deputy head Jamil Melikov told Trend on Friday.
He said the plant operates in one shift instead of the three.
"We are training staff for the second and third shifts," Melikov said.
Total annual production capacity of the plant is 120,000 panels with a total capacity of 30 megawatts.
In the future, it is also planned to produce solar accumulators in the Sumgait industrial park.
