ERIELL Group international oilfield services continues to actively use multi-volume acid treatment with a coiled tubing unit, in order to increase hydrocarbon production at the wells of Uzbekistan’s Mubarek group of fields, Trend reports citing the company's statement.
The company said that due to the decrease in the production rates over the time of exploitation of oil and gas fields, there is a need to conduct recovery operations. Currently, acid treatment of the formation is one of the most common ways to increase well productivity.
As a result of using this method at wells No. 62 and No. 53 of the Kultak field, the daily gas production rate was increased from 182,500 to 218,500 cubic meters per day and from 96,000 to 120,000 cubic meters per day, respectively.
At wells No. 300, No. 304, No. 131 and No. 306 of the Dengizkul field, the daily production rate was increased from 168,000 to 192,000 cubic meters per day, from 138,000 to 174,000 cubic meters per day, from 75,000 to 111,000 cubic meters per day, and from 96,000 to 130,000 cubic meters per day, respectively.
At wells No. 73 and No. 72 of the Samantepa field, the daily production rate was increased from 139,780 to 163,670 cubic meters per day and from 159,000 to 185,350 cubic meters per day, respectively.
As a result of the use of multi-volume acid treatment only at these wells, the company achieved the additional increase in natural gas production for the needs of the population in the autumn-winter period by 228,000 m³ per day. Since the start of work, the use of the multi-volume acid treatment method has been completed at 20 wells in the Mubarek group of fields.
