Uzbekneftegaz and Gazprombank JSCs cooperate in organizing the financing of the II stage of the program for increasing hydrocarbon production in Uzbekistan for 2017-2021, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
A meeting was held between the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Mehriddin Abdullayev and the Executive Vice President of JSC Gazprombank Vyacheslav Okhotin.
It was noted at the meeting that Gazprombank is a strategic partner of Uzbekneftegaz in financing large investment projects aimed at increasing the production and processing of hydrocarbons.
In particular, Gazprombank allocated more than $1.3 billion for the implementation of projects in the oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan, including production of synthetic liquid fuel based on purified methane at ShGKhK, expansion of the production capacity of ShGKhK, geological exploration at the investment the Sechankul, Akdzhar and Chimbay blocks, development of the Urga, Akchalak, and Chandyr group fields, as well as stage I of the program to increase hydrocarbon production for 2017–2021.
In addition, the parties are actively cooperating in organizing the financing of the second stage of the program for increasing hydrocarbon production for 2017–2021 and the exploration and drilling programs for 2021–2022.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the state of agreeing on the main conditions for attracting loans from Gazprombank for the implementation of the above-mentioned projects and identified further joint steps.
