BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 19. Azerbaijan produced 87,600 tons of asphalt from January through May 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that this figure went down by 6,700 tons (7.1 percent) compared to the same period last year (94,300 tons).
As of June 1, of this year, the ready stock of asphalt amounted to 8,700 tons.
Besides, in the reporting period, Azerbaijan produced 84,700
tons of petroleum coke, which is 11,600 tons or 12 percent less
compared to the same period in 2024 (96,300 tons).
As of June 1, the ready stock of petroleum coke stood at 37,000
tons.
Over the reporting period, the total value of petroleum product manufacturing in Azerbaijan amounted to 2.03 billion manat ($1.2 billion), reflecting a 5.2 percent decrease compared to the same period last year.
