On September 19, the President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnak Abdullayev met with the delegation of the Republic of Moldavia headed by the Minister
of Ecology and Natural Resources Constantine Mikhayileki, Trend reports with reference to the statement of SOCAR.
According to the Minister, SOCAR possess wide experience. In addition, he voiced his hope that Moldavia will use it. According to Mikhayileki, oil and gas structures have been revealed in Moldavia over the recent period. There is a need for the participation of Azerbaijani experts, especially seismologists and geophysicist, in appointing their prospects. Therefore, a necessity emerged to create initial expert group that may hold joint researches in these structures.
According to Abdullayev, Azerbaijan is ready to share its experience with Moldavia. If the prospects of structures in Moldavian territory are defined, then Azerbaijani side is ready to carry out initial procedures for the preparation of their geophysical and geological works.
