The nominal income of the population of Azerbaijan decreased over the first 11 months of 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, the nominal income of the Azerbaijani population as of December 1, 2020, amounted to 50.1 billion manat ($29.4 billion), showing a decrease of 1.3 percent over the year.
From January through November 2020, the country's nominal GDP made up 64.7 billion manat ($38 billion), which is 11.2 percent less than in the same period of 2019.
As reported, the volume of GDP in the non-oil sector for the mentioned period totaled over 39.9 billion manat ($23.4 billion), which is 1.15 percent more compared to the same period last year. At the same time, investments in fixed assets amounted to 12.7 billion manat ($7.47 billion), which dropped by 0.55 percent or 70.3 million manat ($41.3 million) year on year.
By early December 2020, the average annual consumer price index (CPI) was 2.8 percent, having increased by 0.2 percentage points over the year.
