ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 20. Turkmenistan will launch a multifunctional solar and wind power plant with a capacity of 10 megawatts in the Balkan region, the Deputy Chairman Baymyrat Annamammedov said at a cabinet meeting, Trend reports via Turkmenistan's official media.
“Preparations are underway to open a multifunctional solar and wind power plant with a capacity of 10 megawatts in the Balkan region. Along with this, preparations are also underway for the opening of the Bäherden ceramic production facility in the Akhal region," the deputy noted.
According to Annamammedov, Turkmenistan will present these and other achievements in construction, industrial production, energy, and chemical industries at the upcoming specialized international forums.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has directed the successful opening of a new power plant and a ceramic production facility, as well as the holding of high-level international events.
