All Azerbaijani banks are connected to the payment system of the information computer center of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, the center reported.
The payment system of the center allows payment for the use of fixed telephone lines. The system was first commissioned in March.
For the convenience of users, their phone number is associated with municipal codes, which also allows receipt of information operatively and for subscribers to pay for the use of water, gas and electricity. The advantage of the system is the instant transfer of funds to the bank account of the operator.
The centralized billing system of the information computer center was launched in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to collect utility payments in June. The project was implemented by the information computer center jointly with the Ministry of Communications and High-Technologies of the NAR.
