The Sumgait Technologies Park (STP) started to supply fiber-optic cables to Azerbaijani communications operators, STP told Trend May 24.
At present, the main consumers of fiber-optic cables produced by STP are Azerfon and Aztelekom.
STP launched the production of fiber-optic cables in late 2015.
Currently, STP is negotiating with the Japanese and Chinese companies to implement a joint project to launch a new production line of fiber-optic cables with the prospect of exporting finished products to the markets of other countries.
